1. Are you on a Secure Web?
Okay, first thing first, always check the top left corner of the website you are on and then see if the URL of the website starts with “https” and not “http”, ones without ‘s’ are insecure. So, only two things to see here:
a. Small Lock Icon
b. HTTPS
2. Refund & Return Policy
We all love online shopping that we often end up binge buying. In the moment you end up ordering something that few days later you realize if of no use to you. In such an event you must have an option to return the item. We strongly recommend you to read the refund and return policies whenever you make a purchase. Do not just assume the return policy, do read it properly.
3. Fraud by Sellers
How many times have you received a text or email with some awesome offers? Beware of these sellers. For instance, if you are being offered a luxury watch for throwaway prices, don’t just click on buy now. Instead, check out product reviews, website reviews, and of course, return and refund policy. The same could apply to each and every product you see is available at throwaway prices.
4. Is your shopping Goal-Oriented?
In this age of zillions of products and services out there, don’t be lured in to purchase everything. Do not fall in that trap of Blingy Advertisers. Instead, make a short list of your goals and try to think of which goal are you achieving with your spending. At the end of all, it’s your hard-earned money.
